Erie MetroBark Park

It's located east of the Maple Grove Center at Osborn Park in Huron Township, with accessibility from Hull Road. Parking, ranger patrols and maintenance needs are nearby. The area is already a favorite for many dog owners that walk the park year round.Benches, water fountains, waste stations, shade trees and a covered shelter will be included. A separate area for small, older or less active dogs will also be available.Access will be through a secure, double-gated entry with a coded lock. A bulletin board at the entrance will post announcements, rules and other information.Dogs need to run and socialize with other dogs to be healthy, both mentally and physically. With over 13,600 dogs in Erie County, a base of prospective users and volunteers is plentiful.Dog owners are required to stay in or next to the dog park at all times while their dog is utilizing the dog park.
